Write an essay of at least five paragraphs, using classification and division as the primary rhetorical mode. Choose from the following topics for your paper:

1. Types of movies.

2. Types of crowds

4. Types of students

5. Types of workers/coworkers.

Things to remember:

1. Avoid binaries. Use at least three classes.

2. Make sure that you complete the subject/topic in the essay. That means that you want your classification to be exhaustive and exclusive. That means you want to makes sure that every item you can think of will fit into one of your classes, with little or no overlap between them 9for example, higher education, undergraduate education, and high school education).

3. Make sure that there logic to your classification. For example, do not categorize cars as low-priced cars, big cars, and sports cars.

4. Make sure that you remember and use the previous rhetorical conventions, where applicable (narration, description, examples).

If you do not have a complete draft next time (at least five paragraphs, double spaced), do not come to class.
