What about best-selling author Tom Robbins?  I've read Jitterbug Perfume and Another Roadside Attraction, both fantastic books.  On my to-read list I have Skinny Legs and Fierce Invalids From Hot Climates and another that I borrowed out a year ago before I even read it and never got back.  Robbins is pretty salacious and sacrilegious, so definitely not for everyone, but is the favorite author of the girl who introduced him to me. 

Has anyone else read any Robbins?
